AS was a software product, but I think it no longer exists in 2005. I recall a phone call from the IBM AS Product Manager in about 1983 asking if AS could be used to read SMF records, and when I mentioned VBS Record Format with repeated fields, the conversation ended, as neither was supported nor contemplated in the AS product at that time.
